Patricia R. (Callahan) Bannon, 82, passed on December 10th at home. She was the wife of the late William L. Bannon Sr. and mother of the late William J. Bannon Jr.
A lifelong Central Falls resident, she was a daughter of the late Alice Dombrowski Callahan - Morrissete and Thomas J. Callahan. Pat had been the former manager of Ricks Pub for 24 years and also worked at Batters Choice. She also helped the families business, “Callahan Café” for many years and had worked at T.I. Metals, was a Home Health Aide and licensed hairdresser.
Mrs. Bannon played Mrs. Clause for many years at local parties, was past president of the 36 Ladies Club, an officer of the bowling league and for Rick’s pub Children’s Fund Office of the Blackstone Valley Pool League.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Linda Bannon, her very special granddaughter, Brittney Bannon, her fiancé, William Plouff, a sister, Alice Flanagan, husband Joseph, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was pre deceased by her brother, Thomas Callahan,
Her funeral will be held Thursday, December 13th at 8:45am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian burial in St. Aidan Church, Diamond Hill Rd, Cumberland at 10am. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, from 4pm until to 7pm.
